Summit of Innovation in Food Design, Food Tech, Social Food & Sustainability born in Barcelona city. Co-founded and co-organized by Plat Institute and Barcelona Design Center. Foodture Barcelona seeks to provide spaces and platforms in order to connect emerging talent with industry, and create a solid and supportive community.









OBJECTIVE

Develop an appealing brand that brings together visionary projects, startups and professionals from different backgrounds (science, design, tech.) so together we could explore and redesign the world of food.

A fresh and memorable identity that allows the showcased talents and projects to be the protagonists.

ZEWA LAB x PARADISO


Plat's ZEro WAste labs and shops are born from our clients' need to manage and transform their waste into new sources of income. We advise and guide our clients through the process while providing them with a framework and a global identity to be a part of.










OBJECTIVE

Develop a global brand under which Plat and its clients could transform their own waste and produce functional design and showcase the results from the material flow management created.

RESULTS

ZEWA branding for zero waste labs and shops.
Our first collaboration: ZEWA x Paradiso, focused on managing plastic and transforming it into functional design objects.

Packaging House Lamp x ESCRIBÁ

Despite its history and tradition as a prestigious brand in Barcelona and the world, in 2013 Escribà pastry was going through a complicated moment. Reinvention was needed in order to update the business model and appeal to new audiences, while highlighting its marvelous legacy and expertise. We helped the brand by creating a global strategy for the tranformation of the brand.






OBJECTIVE

To preserve and disseminate the historical legacy of the pastry and its development through technique as an axis of innovation, as well as elevating it to a broader context that encompasses science, art and technology.
RESULTS

1. Refresh of the brand’s identity.
2. Development of new edible products.
3. Packaging.
4. Remodeling of flagship stores.
5. Improving productivity by enhancing daily processes and introducing new technologies.

Healthy Fast Food x SLICE LAB


Healthy Food is the good food revolution!
Slice Lab is an upcoming small pizza space that will be located in Poblenou, Barcelona. Its design and practices are inspired by circularity. Its menu is tailored to bring good ingredients produced by local farmers and deliver them in an easy and fast way for customers.




OBJECTIVE

Create the branding and interior design for the first zero waste Pizza Lab. Develop the business strategy bearing in mind the possibility of future franchises.
RESULTS

Development of a circular model for a pizza and cocktail bar.

Shine-Nodal System x HOTUSA


The intelligent wall is a revolution in everyday hotel. Built on a brand new infrastructure it enables people to enjoy the experience of see the world in his room Besides a ton of other cool features, it is the intuitive fluid-based user experience that makes the app really stand out.  A unique application and projection device that transforms hotel rooms into smart interactive spaces.







OBJECTIVE

To offer hotel guests experiences designed to help them make the most of their time in their room.

RESULTS

A cutting edge projection tech device managed through an application that allows guests to plan tourist routes by exploring 3D maps, to have fun while exercising body and mind, to relax with audiovisual content or to simply share the screen of their personal devices in large format.
